I have a few days in Juneau while on assignment with UnCruise Adventures, a small ship company, creating virtual tours (360° photos packaged into a specific website) for their advertising. On my downtime I’ve been wandering the streets of Juneau in what has been perfect weather.
With no larger ships in port yesterday, I took the opportunity to wander the streets and see what the town is like in the off season, but without the cold weather. The big boats are just starting to trickle into town after legislation was passed that allowed them to not have to stop in Canada on their way from Seattle. The season for those boats is going to be short.
The following is a photo essay of the random and quiet I found in downtown Juneau.
