Description: Being the largest National Park in the continental US, Death Valley has miles of roaming built-in to it. While camping at Stovepipe Wells, I struck out North and could have walked for hours. There are dunes that are far more lonesome and enjoyable than the big ones at Mesquite Dunes and the expanse of the park quickly becomes apparent.
