Description: On a recent trip to Algodones Dunes I swung by the border wall to see what was what.
In this part of California, close to where Interstate 8 dips to within a mile of Mexico, the wall is more of a fence. But a fence with two rows of concertina (razor) wire on the top of the US side plus two rows at the bottom.
In the foreground is the All-American Canal, which brings water from the Colorado River in to the Imperial Valley.
