Description: Kay knows how to take her time with a photo and truly appreciate the vistas.
The joy of a Far Horizon Photo Tour is you only have to carry the bare essentials with you as we trek. Things like your camera and some water.
Heck, if you want to lighten the load further (remember, there is less air up there) we’d be glad to carry your daypack, even.
Leaving you free to soak in all the sights and fill memory cards until your shutter finger is sore.
Title: So Many Stunning Views, You Have To Take A Seat
Location: Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal
How do you get to incredible viewpoints like today’s photo? With the help of local Nepali Sherpa guides and porters. They are who I rely on for all my local logistics during Far Horizon Photo Tours and I couldn’t teach photography in Nepal without them.
The pandemic has ravaged the tourism industry in Nepal, basically shutting down the Spring 2020 trekking season and, more or less, the Fall 2020 season.
That’s why I started a GoFundMe page to help my friend and lead Sherpa guide, Kami, and the 24 different guides and porters he would normally be hiring to run tours.
It warms my heart and I am extremely thankful for all who have donated as we passed $4000 today!
Take a look at the donor page to place a donation and to be informed about how and when the money is distributed. You’ll be able to see your impact through Kami’s words and photos.
Thank you – pwc
