Description: Not one but two iPhone shots from the first day of 2015. My wife and I took the long way up to the Hollywood sign (starting near the Merry-Go-Round) to celebrate the first day of the year. A nice surprise on the way was a perfect panorama location (the pano shown here without the sign in it). Up at the sign itself there are chainlink fences obscuring the great views and 360 panos are blocked by the massive communication tower. There is even a surveillance camera hooked up to a speaker and it yelled at someone trying to go around the fences, telling them they would be arrested. No counted about 15 cameras up there.
