Title: Unnamed Falls On Boulder River
Location: Boulder River Wilderness, Cascade Mountains, Washington, USA, North America
Description: These falls are found along one of my favorite hikes in the Washington Cascade Mountains. I have visited the Boulder River probably a dozen times and camped solo at the end of the trail, peacefully soaking in the roaring river all night.
These falls don’t have a name, which I find odd. Most people call them Boulder River Falls, but those falls are actually further down river, hidden in the trees. The falls seen here feed into the river and are not part of the river, hence the lack of a name. Or at least they shouldn’t be called Boulder River Falls.
I’ll be writing an instructional post for Digital Photography School soon about creating vertical panoramas like this one.
