Title: The Edge Of Morning
Location: Tengboche, Solukhumbu, Nepal, Asia (27°50’8″ N 86°45’49” E)
Description: Watching the sunrise in the Himalayas is often an exercise in looking anywhere but East. Because of the depth of the valleys, the golden effect of the sun is seen on the high peaks all around long before it warms the villages. Image is shot from the village of Tengboche, Nepal.

Hello Peter,
I am new to photography and while searching tips on the internet I came across one of your blogs something named as “15 minutes for digital photography” ( you wrote it at an airport). That led me to your website and I found a very valuable resource to start up my photgraphy lessons. I read and practised your “31+ days to better photography” and “31+ days photography experiments”. Those 2 lessons helped me a lot & I am now happy that I can shoot 🙂 Thank you for that !
Well, I need few tips from you on landscape photography, especially capturing Mountains. I am planning a trip to a hill station (here in India, by the way I am from India) and want to capture sunrise and sunsets. Could you please guide me so that I take up my passion little further. I shall share my clicks as well after the trip if you are interested to see them 🙂
I have a Canon 600D with basic 18-55 and 55-250 lenses.
Thanks a lot.
God Bless !!!
