Title: The Devil Is In The Details
Location: The front garden
Description: Sure, this is a pretty flower, but that’s not why I snapped this photo. I snapped it while testing a Sigma SD1 Merrill Digital SLR Camerain the front garden to see how sharp the images are. The SD-1 uses a different sensor than other cameras that makes images sharper. It has drawbacks, such as the camera being not well suited to travel photography, but it does have amazing detail. Take a look at the 100% blow up below.
I will have a full write-up on the camera on Digital Photography School (http://digital-photography-school.com) in the coming weeks. There is good and bad with the camera and it is not suited for every photographer. But there is a segment of the market where it really shines.
