Photo Of The Day – Rare Four Volcanos In One Shot

4 Volcanos

Title: Rare 4 Volcanos In One Shot

Location: Oregon, USA, North America

Description: It’s not often you can capture four volcanos in one shot when flying commercially. Yesterday I was lucky to have not only clear(ish) skies, but also our flight needed to kill time before landing at SeaTac Airport. So it took a couple of delaying turns while over central Oregon and the volcanos just lined right up.

From left to right; Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood. Just out of frame is Mt. Jefferson in Oregon. Fresh snow makes the scene complete.

I have started two new photography learning series on my other blog: Photography Basics – A 43 Day Adventure, and its companion 40 Photography Experiments.
