Title: Newborn
Location: Luang Prabang, Laos, Asia
Description: I was still traveling with Jonathan in Laos in this little village outside of Luang Prabang. We went to the village to photograph the whiskey production, but as we were about to leave a man came up to us and asked us if we wanted to take a picture of a new baby. The baby was 5 days old, born in the village by the overseeing eye of the village medicine man. Now the mother drank medicinal bark soup and sat by the fire to recover from the birth.
