Title: Mount Rainier At Sunset Above The Clouds
Location: Washington, USA, North America
Description: Catching this view of Mount Rainier looming above a sea of clouds was mostly luck but also planning. The luck was in the timing of the flight to Seattle, but the planning was knowing which side to be on. And also flying enough to get a nice seat in front of the engine for clear views.

How do you reduce the impact of the airplane window? There is usually frost or condensation that shows up in my pictures or brings down the image’s sharpness.
Dave, That’s also a bit of luck. The frost is often in the middle, so I hunt for a spot that doesn’t have it. Also, I try to shoot as perpendicular to the plexiglass as possible as there are two panes, so shooting at an angle makes for blur.
