This shot is a stitch of 8 photos taken at 300mm. The original image is over 17,000 pixels wide but I have cropped it to the above photo for easier printing. I shoot most shots a bit dull knowing I can bring out the natural colors in the computer. In this case, after stitching the photos together with hugin, I first brought the white point in from the right to nearly half way (that’s how dark this image was because of the polarizer and exposure setting). I increased contrast a bit and increased saturation only slight. The above photo is an accurate representation of just how beautiful it was last night on a cold, clear evening in the Puget Sound.

Just now getting around to old Stumbles. Great shot of Mount Rainer. I visited Seattle last month for the first time and it was so much fun. Gorgeous city.
