Title: Moon And The Rockies
Location: Canmore, Alberta, Canada, North America (51°4’55” N 115°19’20” W)
Description: Because the soaring flanks of the Canadian Rockies jut so abruptly into the sky from valleys below, catching the moon ‘setting’ requires advanced planning. This shot was taken about two hours before the astronomical moonset time and was captured by chance while killing time in Alberta.
