Title: Just Past Sunset
Location: Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah, USA, North America
Description: The world looks a little different from 9000′ just after the sun sets on Mauna Kea. Because of the altitude, when looking away from the sun after it dips past the horizon, a band of deep blue can be seen in the shadow caused by the Earth’s horizon to the sun while the atmosphere above still receives the much filtered direct rays of a classic golden orange Hawaii sunset. Shot at the Mauna Kea Visitors Center on Hawaii, The Big Island.
