Title: Burj Khalifa, World’s Tallest Building, High Resolution Exploration
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Africa
Description: The problem with shooting the world’s tallest building is, well, it’s very tall. I had to remain at a good distance to not produce any unwanted distortion. The final image is a stitch of 91 individual images that were stitched and cropped to a final image of 1.22 Gigapixels.
The image was shot with the aid of a machine known as a PanoGear, a motorized unit which is programmed to shoot extremely large panoramas, and stitched with AutoPano Giga.
The camera used was A Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon 180mm Macro L, thanks to BorrowLenses.com.
