Title: Ama Dablam, Solukhumbu
Location: Solukhumbu, Nepal, Asia (27°50’33” N 86°44’20” E)
Description: Ama Dalam’s features are classic. From the steep sides to the chiseled peak at 6,856 meters (22,493 ft), this mountain exudes mountainness. I chose a black and white rendition for this image because I feel it helps carve the mountain better and lets it stand out against the sky. My hope is it would make the peak seem more cold, especially with the wind whipped clouds pull from its side. I love the Himalayas and hope you enjoy the picture and the rest of your day.
