Description: I guess I have been away from the wet woods for longer than I imagined because today’s run and then short birding in the area was refreshing and energizing. It helped that there were two bald eagles conversing about something as they circled then dove through the woods, seemingly looking for the perfect tree to build a next. And a profusion of American Robins makes Spring feel more real (even though temperatures were still in the 40s).
Time alone in the woods is always welcome in my world.
