Photo Of The Day – Soaring Scarlet Macaws

Title: Soaring Scarlet Macaws

Location: Golfito National Wildlife Refuge, Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica, Central America

Description: It’s been a good six weeks since we have returned from our UnCruise Adventure trip through Costa Rica and Panama and I am happy to return to it through pictures. We had rain at times as it was the end of the “green” season, but there were also blue skies and soaring macaws.

They are such beautiful birds and it is amazing to see how Technicolored they are in real life. They really do have the strong saturation you see in these photos. Incredible birds, they are.
