Nepal Cultural & Trekking Photo Tours Now Available

After my 2019 Photo Trek in Nepal sold out I knew I should get the other trips up as soon as possible. That’s why I’m happy to announce registration is now open for Nepal: Wildlife, Temples & Vistas Photo Tour 2019 and Nepal:Historic Paths Himalayan Photo Trek 2020!

The Photo Tour in 2019 is 13 days and currently runs $3000 (if booked before February 1, 2019) for an all-inclusive driving tour of Nepal’s cultural hot spots.  It runs October 27 – November 8, making it fit nicely into calendars, including time to shake off jet lag when you return home. We visit:

  • Kathmandu and over a half dozen UNESCO World Heritage Sites
  • Mountain viewing flight (everyone gets a window seat). See Mount Everest and the Himalayas the easy way!
  • Pokhara – a mountain town along a beautiful lake with opportunities for sunrise mountain photos and cultural exploration
  • Lumbini – The birth place of Buddha and a confluence of the many offshoots of Buddhism
  • Chitwan National Park –  Your chance to see rhinos in the wild and more bird variety than you thought possible in a mountainous country
  • All hotels, meals, internal flights, van, driver, guide, entrance fees taken care of for you so you concentrate on photography

The Photo Trek in 2020 is a longer 17 days and is currently $3900 (if booked before September 1, 2019). It’s also all-inclusive and you will spend 14 days in the Himalayas, exploring historic paths and timeless vistas. Highlights include:

  • Kathmandu and over a half dozen UNESCO World Heritage Sites
  • Carry just a day pack as your heavy gear is portered to each teahouse for you.
  • Endless mountain views for two weeks of blissful trekking
  • Climb 17,500′ Gokyo Ri for a sunrise like no other
  • All hotels, meals, internal flights, van, driver, guide, entrance fees taken care of for you so you concentrate on photography

Each trip is limited to only 6 guests to keep the group size small and fun. I’m not going to use fear as a motivator, but the sooner you sign up, the cheaper your trip will be.

I looked forward to seeing you in Nepal!!
