Description: Currently trapped within its concrete confines as it passes around the Hollywood Hills that separate LA from the San Fernando Valley, the LA River is….what on days like this?
As far as I know there are no natural springs feeding the river. And it hasn’t rained in a long time. So the water is mostly runoff from watering and any kind of commercial operations?
I think I need to learn a bit more. Because there’s not much reason this river should have water in it right about now (while realizing there is a nice bit of raining coming our way, so maybe I should go out and get fresh images next week from the same location?).
