Wandering through the souks of Fez, Morocco, we swung into a likely scarf shop. Likely as in, it was likely our guide had an in with the shop and that’s why we were ushered through the entryway. No matter, this is how much of the market works when you have a guide. We each picked out a scarf (mine as a gift as I’m not a scarf wearing type of guy) and then one of the workers showed us how to wrap the scarf in one of many forms turbans can take. We watched and, knowing my propensity to forget, asked him to do it one more time for our own video sake. Click on the video below for your own short introduction into the ease of keeping the dust and dirt out of your face and hair.
