I love how Samantha LeLonde’s sled is packed with a cooler as if she’s just out for a quick picnic, instead of the longest Iditarod race ever at 1150 miles across Alaska.
I also love that she lists her sponsors as:
- Ma and Pa!
- Dominos Pizza
- Alaska Trappers Association
That cooler must be full of cold pizza to fuel the dogs. I just know it.
As I write this, the races has been going for 8 days and Samantha is down to 12 dogs from her original 16.
She is currently in 13th place, middle of the pack of 26 remaining mushers.
