Juniper, The Colorado River And Endless Canyons

Description:This tenacious juniper tree grew out of a small crack in the sandstone with enough soil to feed its roots. While half certainly looks deal, the tree is bearing fruit (berries) and doing what it can to survive in this often harsh environment.

The Colorado River winds its way about 2000′ below dead Horse Point State Park’s observation point, while Potash Road can be seen on a bench just 300′ above the river.
