The crater of Haleakala is a wondrous place I want to explore more.
Besides being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, it is one of the most accessible craters you can explore.
Mt. St. Helens? Nope, still gassy.
Crater Lake? Filled with water.
Take some time if you’re on Maui. And dress warm, it was 45°F when I was there while 82°F on the beach. No joke.
