I happened upon their Light Pollution Reduction Filter ($20 at Amazon) and thought I’d give it a try, as the examples were fairly compelling. Lately I’ve been enjoying the Pocket 2’s ability to move with (or against or tangentially to) the stars as the world turns at night. Maybe this filter can help the quality of those time lapse clips?
I won’t leave you hanging, the answer is it helps and is worth the $20. It does a pretty good job, too. Here’s a couple of stills. The first is without and the second is with the filter.
Here’s a 3 minute review with time-lapse videos.
