Description:Sitting on a bench down from the main Island In The Sky area of Canyonlands National Park is the white sandstone that gives the White Rim Trail its name.
That layer is often marked with small puddles developed of huge stretches of time as storms come and go.
On our visit in October of 2024 with two nights camping on the White Rim Trail, there were still a few puddles which make excellent foreground subjects against the dramatic landscape of the park.
