Hanging out in Canmore this last week (that’s in Alberta, that’s in Canada) I was reminded of the charm of mountain towns and their outdoor lifestyle. Even in the cold.
The walking paths along the Bow River had a lot of activity, including a herd of elk numbering about 50. This was their leader who was wisely walking along the shore, until a happy dog came along and they rejoined the herd wading through the river.
