Description: Los Angeles still manages to amaze me.
For one thing, there are big rains coming Monday and Tuesday so I decided to head out and capture images of the city on a quiet Sunday. Little did I suspect the weather would be perfect. You can see for tens of miles in every direction (from a drone).
I woke up early and was downtown by 6am to try to get a time-lapse of City Hall with the sun rising behind it. I wasn’t there early enough to get stars (yes, you can see some of the celestial variety, even downtown) but I did get a nice transition. If the weather holds next weekend I might try the same thing. It’s so peaceful on a Sunday.
