Description:After volunteering today with a worthwhile non-profit named Project Angel Food in Lincoln Heights, I decided to see what the city looked like from this angle.
I’m not native to LA so I don’t know all the best and varied compositions. But wandering around tends to help and I’ve lately taken to finding various charities where I can volunteer and that will take me to a place of the city I might not ever visit.
While the view from the ground was fairly industrial, the scene looking over the LA River and then the California Historic Park was a nice find.
If you’re interested in volunteering your time and talent, Project Angel Food prepares 3000 meals a day with an 80% volunteer labor force. Straight from their website “Project Angel Food prepares and delivers more than 1.5 Million Medically Tailored meals each year, free of charge to homes of men, women, and children affected by life-threatening illnesses.” Give them a look if you have time and abilities to share.
