Having a little fun with long exposures and discoloration.
Carlsbad Caverns has been on my list for a long, long time. Finally getting to go, even during a work trip, was worth it last month.
The cave tours and opening times have been cut back due to personnel cuts and that sucks, but the off-season has its perks, like lighter crowds and the chance to explore totally alone for ten minutes.
As tripods and monopods are not allowed, low-light photography is tricky. And silly me, I didn’t have a gray card and was so excited about just being there, I didn’t get a good reading for white balance.
But I will have ‘normal’ photos from the caverns soon!
Until then….what lies ahead….
