Back in March we took a special trip up to Alaska with hopes of seeing the Northern Lights. I also miss winter (see: wildfires in LA in January).
Having once tried to see the lights and getting skunked, hopes were high and expectations were low.
But luck was on our side the first night with clear skies and plenty of lights, the brightest happening around 2:30AM.
As everyone who sees them bright and brilliant says, you really need to see them for yourself; photos don’t do them justice.
