Description: As a creative person, it’s often a lot of fun to work with creatives in other fields because the energy is so different than when I’m out taking photos of pretty sunsets or landscapes.
In this case, the flower above was part of experimenting during a shoot for Andy Suzuki and the Method’s Alibi album cover. Andy wanted burning roses and we experimented with various setups. This was a cast-off where I removed a bit of the yellow saturation from the flame and flower.
I really like how it turned out, even if it wasn’t right for his needs. In the end, we went with a large bunch of roses and you can see the results here.
