Port Townsend, located about an hour and a half from Seattle, is a town lucky enough to escape most of the earthquake damage many other brick towns have fallen victim to in the past century. With a dozen buildings over 100 years old, many with old advertisements still plastering their exteriors, the town’s Water Street is a nice walk, even when the clouds threaten rain.
