Description:On the island of Kauai is a natural wonder, the likes of which we don’t have here on the mainland. Sure, we have deep canyons and lush canyons, but not in the same place.
Nimmi and I spent time on a short hike part way down the canyon and both the hike as well as the 4x4ing to get to the trailhead (pro tip: rent a Jeep with a soft top and 4×4) made me want to go back for more. There are a few impressive waterfalls you can hike to as well.
The lookouts from the main road look like great places to set up a camera for an hour and just watch/capture the clouds rolling through.
Location:Waimea State Park, Island of Kaua’i, Hawai’i, USA
