Description: Remember that post two days ago about Phortse? You can juuuust barely see it in the left of this trail photo as two of my guests take photos of the last we saw of Everest.
If you’re coming up the trail, this is the first chance you’ll have to see the Sagarmatha, as it is known locally. It’s the peak in the distance with the clouds streaking off of it because it pokes into the jetstream often.
