Pick A Boat, Any Boat

Description: Early in the morning, before the locals and tourists arrive to be ferried out to Taj Barahi on Phewa Lake in Pokhara, the colorful boats are kept tied close to shore.

Some with coverings (yes, most of those are an advertisement for KitKat bars (see below)) but a lot just open to the sky above.

You can catch a boat to the temples or over to a staircase that leads up, up, and up some more to World Peace Pagoda high above the city (look for a post soon with views from up there).
