Title: The Machermo Range And The Moon,
Location: Machermo, Solukhumbu, Nepal, Asia (27°54’12” N 86°42’55” E)
Description: Knowing a little about the cycle and timing of the moon can help to bring a new dimension to your landscape photography. Planning a trip with the moon in mind will not only help night time photos (shoot close to a new moon so you can see more stars) but knowing the moonrise and moonset times locally can add something to your shots. In this case, I walked outside of our teahouse in Machermo, Nepal, just after sunrise in time to catch the moon as it nestled nicely in the notch of a few peaks along the Machermo Range.
