Title: Rainbow Over False Bay, Alaska
Location: Chatham Strait, Alaska, USA, North America (57°58’5″ N 134°54’59” W)
Description: Southeast Alaska, the area around the capital of Juneau, sees its fair share of gray weather. During a one week whale watching cruise with UnCruise Adventures, I witnessed not only the gray, but also the beauty that abounds when the sun breaks through.
In this case, a nicely positioned rainbow is see across False Bay just off of Chatham Strait. Check the GPS coordinates for an exact location. This is also the area where our ship witnessed the awe inspiring act of bubblenet feeding by a group of humpback whales for over an hour. A wondrous place for sure.
