Title: Mount Saint Helens And Mount Adams
Location: Washington, USA, North America
Description: One of the benefits of flying out of Seattle in almost any direction is the chance to spy the beautiful mountains in the Cascade or Olympic ranges. Here Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams show off their new wintery coats in a December photo taken from an Alaska Air flight to sunny California. I fly to California or back almost every week and the view of the volcanoes, including Mt. Shasta far to the South, always has me glued to the windows. After making these trips for almost two year you would think I’d seen it all, but as the seasons change, so does the character and style of the mountains. And being able to see them so clearly on a December morning is a special treat as clouds are typically covering all but the top of Mt. Rainier (not pictured) in winter.
