Title: Ancient Roman Road, Jerash, Jordan
Location: Jerash, Jordan
Description: I’m not much of a historian, but I do love to learn. This is much history in Jordan and it amazed me how complete some of it is. The Roman ruins, complete with two amphitheaters and a temple to Zeus. The picture above is one of the original roads leading into the main area of town from the North. Ruts, worn in from centuries of wagon use, make history come alive for me.
