Title: The Town of Dole In Front Of Kangtega
Location: Dole, Nepal, Asia
Description: Dole (pronounced Dole-Lay) is like a lot of Himalayan villages: Just a short strip of teahouses and regular homes along the trail, with maybe a larger teahouse just off to the side. It’s a perfect spot to stop between Namche Bazaar and the higher up communities of Machermo and Gokyo.
Kangtega is shaped like a saddle and towers over 22,251′ (6,782m). The area is far away from any substantial lights at night and makes for excellent start photography.
I’m excited to be heading to Central America to teach photography in November and December of 2017 in Costa Rica and Panama. One trip is from Costa Rica to Panama, including a transit of the Panama Canal and a number of National Parks and islands, while the other is the same itinerary in reverse.
I’d love to see you on either trip and you can save $200/cabin by using code CH2U117 when booking either of those Costa Rica/Panama itineraries. Click here or email me for more details.
