It’s a challenge, but I am limiting myself to just one favorite travel photo from each of my trips this year. Why just one? So as to not inundate you with the hundreds I really like and because life is more simple this way. I hope you enjoy this quick look back! 8×10″ Fine Art Giclée prints available for purchase of each at the bottom of this post.
Lions On The Hill – Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Electric Storm Beneath A Billion Stars – Kyajo Ri Basecamp, Nepal
Tulum Ruins And The Caribbean – Riviera Maya, Mexico
Tombstone In Buddhist Cemetery Before The Pacific – Maui, Hawaii
Orca Headstand – Whatcom County, Washington
Concentration: Patrick – Boulder, Colorado
Leading: Liz – Red Rocks, Nevada
Climbers Around The Campfire – Joshua Tree National Park, California
Sunrise On Top Of South Sister Mountain On Jodi’s Birthday – Bend, Oregon
Sleigh Ride – Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada
And for my all time favorite travel photo from 2010, hands down it is this one of my daughter above the Serengeti Plains in Africa
I hope you all have a great 2011 with many, many wondrous travels!
Your daughter is precious! I really love that one of the sleigh, too. Makes me wish I’d gone on a sleigh ride in the snowy South before returning to balmy California.
Beautiful! I absolutely love the Sleigh Ride! It seems like you had an amazing year traveling!
Wonderful selections. Sleighride and your daughter are both lovely, but the Electric Storm beneath a Billion Stars is, in every sense of the word, awesome.
LOVE the shot of your daughter!! She’s darling.
It seems the sleigh ride is popular! Ironically, that was an ice climbing trip but I liked that shot more. 🙂
Thanks everyone!
Stunning photos! And a fantastic year, it seems – so many great trips!! Love the night shot in Nepal and the picture of the Orca.
I love the Nepal photo and the one of your daughter. Travel photos with people are far better than those without in my mind.
Superb photos!
Thank you, everyone, for the compliments! I’m glad you enjoyed them and I hope to have many more in 2011!
Great photos. Must have been really hard to choose!
Great photos! Love the sleigh
BEYOND amazing!!!!!!!! If someone was twisting my arm, I’d choose the night sky in Nepal as my fave. It’s so hard to take nighttime shots!
And it was so frickin’ COLD that night!! 🙂

I would have to say that the climber pictures are my favorites, being a climber myself I really enjoy those pictures and the hanging out that always results when your burned out!
Chris, this year was tough for me finding a balance between getting the shots I wanted and climbing well. It’s hard to do both!
