Old Stadium, New Stadium, Old Stadium Being Made New Again

Description: In the background you have the old Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which was commissioned to be built 100 years ago. It hosted the first Superbowl. It hosted the 1932 and 1984 Olympics and something called the 1970 Senior Olympics. It holds over 90,000 sun-baked fans for football games. Evil Knievel jumped over 50 cars inside that stadium.

In the foreground you have the two year old Banc of California stadium, which is the home field of the Los Angeles Football Club. It will be the site of soccer matches for the 2028 Olympics.

Now the Coliseum is undergoing another round of renovation thanks to USC, which include, check this out….wifi! Okay, there is more, like all new seats and reduced capacity to 78,000 in order to add more suites.

Footnote, I’ve never been in either stadium, but that should change this or next year!
