Himalayan Tahr

Description: You never know what kind of wildlife you’ll see when trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal. Take, for instance, this fine looking Himalayan Tahr, a wild goat that roams the high up places.

This was my sixth trip to the Himalayas and I had never seen a herd of these tough looking goats this close. How close?

That close. That’s not me, but since Dustin borrowed my 28-300mm lens to get a little closer, I figured I’d put the wide angle lens he handed me to good use.

Title: Himalayan Tahr

Location: Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal, Asia
