A lone Washington State Ferry Boast crosses the Puget Sound in the early morning hours. The sky is ablaze with pinks and orange tones close to the distant Olympic Mountains, which, like the song states, are purple. The ferry boat is in silhouette except for the lights shining from the car desk and passenger decks. The water is a little wind swept but overall the mood is calm and serene.
