Hello all my friendly, funly RSS and email readers. If you haven’t been to the actual The Carey Adventures website in a while, I wanted to invite you to pop on over for a second and give it a look-see. I spent some time this weekend updating the site with what I hope is a better theme for everyone involved. If the stats are any indication, it seems more people are staying longer and clicking on more pages than before (twice as many pages and about 4x the time on site as before).
At the top is the slideshow where I’ll rotate top content. Below that, all of you Photo Of The Day subscribers will apreciate your own section. Missed a photo this last week? The last 6 POTD posts will be highlighted here for your easy perusing. Below that is the latest content with handy preview windows. Lastly is a second for Photography posts. On the sidebar you can browse by category and wayyyy down there, under the ads (which love being clicked on) is the archive section.
I still want to update the header, based on some feedback, to make it more ‘calm’ and not cover our photos with words. Take a look around (http://thecareyadventures.com) and let me know what you think in the comments section below.

Thanks, Lori! Making it easier to navigate was one of the big reasons for the change (I couldn’t stand finding stuff on my own old site, so I knew it must stink for others).
