I’m really enjoying the newer tools in Lightroom, including the new Noise Reduction and slightly older masking tools that help define specific areas with relative ease and speed.
Here’s an original edit from a trip featured on this blog back in 2010. It’s a camp in Tanzania during a safari with Sabrina and my friend Julie.
Canon EOS 5D (no marks), ISO 200 (not usually bad for noise, but the older camera had it), 33mm, f/3.5 and 421 seconds.
Now let’s clean up the noise and other items.
I went a magenta on the sky and I like it. I would take the photo differently today and with better equipment, but that’s another post altogether.
