Description: After an hour of bubble feeding in the cold waters north of Sitka, Alaska, this grown whale breached a half dozen times before we motored out of site.

   Nice! I’ve seen quite a few whales, but I’ve never seen one breech the surface like that.

     And this was as we were leaving watching bubble feeding for an hour. We also saw one young whale breach over 100 times in a two hour session. It was hard to believe and very memorable.
