Title: Hanging Valley At Sunset
Location: Above the Mende Monastery, Solukhumbu, Nepal, Asia
Description: At 14,500′, this valley was my home for two weeks while attempting to climb a 20,000′ peak in the Nepali Himalayas. During those two weeks at this valley, and the two hanging valleys above it, we encountered only two other people. Solitude can still be found.
