Free 8×10 Prints From Canon And Ilford

41 evAzL4vL._SL500_AA300_They’re doing it again. Canon and Ilford have once again teamed up to show you what their products can do and I would like to join in the fun.

You probably know about Canon. They make the camera and most of the lenses that I use. They also make printers, one of which, the Pixma 9000PRO Mark II, I currently use for my smaller image and card printing.

You might not know Ilford. Among other things, they make photo papers. They have been around the block more than once and started in the days of film processing (they made slide and negative film as well) by providing high quality papers.

The Offer

Canon and Ilford want you to buy their products. They think they are pretty cool and are offering you a free sample just to show you.

Visit http://www.trymyphoto.com/ and you will be able to upload an image to have printed on one of Canon’s pro line of printers; Canon Pixma PRO-1, Canon Pixma Pro9500 Mark II and Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II. Ilford, for their part, have a couple of papers they would like you to try; Smooth Gloss 310 gsm and Smooth Pearl 310 gsm. I started using the Smooth Pearl earlier this year and love it for the rich color reproduction.

The Offer +1

If you don’t have an image readily available, I would like to offer you one of mine to print on these high grade printers and paper.

Take a look at my selection of images from the print and card store at http://peterwestcarey.com/store. Click on an image and you will see file name associated with it (“PWC-3333.jpg” or the like). Use my contact form to send me a request for the image.

I send you the image, you use it to only create a print with this offer (no other use of the image, online or offline, is allowed, please) and then receive the print(s) in the mail directly from Canon and Ilford.

It That Easy

I hope you enjoy your free print, whether it is mine or one of your own. I have been very happy with both Canon and Ilford for my own printing needs and you will likely find the same.

Visit http://www.trymyphoto.com/ to get started. It does ask you to create an account, sorry, I can’t change that part.
